Two year starter with one at Georgia Tech. First-team All-Big 12 in 2025. Transferred from Georgia Tech in 2024 after spending 2022-2023 with USC and Auburn 2020-2021. Lean, lanky frame with decent length. Athletic with fluid hips and an energetic play style. Played almost exclusively in a wide 9 in a two point stance with the inside foot back. Fundamentally sound footwork he shows a quick first step and shoots his hands immediately into a blocker to gain leverage. Uses a quick push pull to get off blocks in the run game. Has speed to chase and can slip blocks to sift inside or pursue on the perimeter. Has a closing burst chasing down plays on the backside. Very productive as a pass rusher he rarely gives blockers a clean shot. Shows an explosive first step and a variety of ways to get pressure. Gains ground quickly on the rush and threatens the outside shoulder with ability to quickly bend and corner. Has speed to power using quick hands to swipe and dip and rip. Second effort when blocked gets him free and into plays increasing his production. Flashes tackling skill but will get out of control and overrun a play. Missed tackle percentage was high in 2025. Can be slow to react to blocking schemes and struggles with pullers. Lack of contact balance shows up when a blocker gets a clean shot as he can get bounced out of plays. Lacks functional strength to hold the point and maintain leverage on powerful blockers. Has the ability to be a quality rotational pass rusher, but could use more weight on his frame and added strength.
