Two year starter with one at Iowa State. Transferred to Texas A&M in 2025. Well-defined upper body with a somewhat slender lower half. Athletic interior defender with above average inline agility and quickness. Has played from a 1 out to a 5 technique with most of his reps shading a guard as a 3 or 2i. Quick at the snap he can beat blockers to a gap and flashes a rapid punch to create separation. Keeps his feet moving and is effective getting ball side leverage moving laterally. Has range across the front to make plays out to the alley. As a 5 technique he can work a tackle's outer half and make plays on the edge. Solid fundamental tackling skill he wraps and finishes and can make plays in space. Adept at tackle end twists and has made several plays in the backfield on stunts and slants. As a pass rusher he's most effective coming off a stunt and also shows a rip and spin move. Lower body power is lacking and he can get knocked off the line moving laterally. Has difficulty holding the point against powerful blockers and gives ground often battling double teams. Pass rush technique is lacking as he fails to set up moves and offers little in a bull rush into a move. Tends to run his rip move too early and is easy to neutralize. He's versatile enough to fit as 5 technique in a 3-4 that can move inside situationally. Will need to develop more lower body power along with pass rush technique.
