Three-year starter. Spent four years at Georgia before transferring to Miami for his final season where he led the Hurricanes to the National Championship. All-SEC in 2023, All-ACC in 2025. Beck has had a long career in the spotlight filled to the brim with ups and downs. His career has been a roller coaster but he ended with a 37-6 record, including ten wins and just two losses against top 10 teams. Tore the UCL in his throwing elbow in his final game with Georgia, turned away from the NFL, and came back stronger under a new environment. The battle tested, prototype pocket passer does have a lot of recurring problems in his game, but there is far too much positive tape and responses to adversity to ignore, as the door remains open to him starting games in the NFL. Smooth and consistent release with proper footwork and alignment. Accurate passer who plays on time. Gets the ball out in a hurry. Reads the defense and processes information quickly. A system-friendly, highly experienced passer. Did a lot of his best work on third and fourth down. Works the middle of the field well. Has a second gear as a runner that can create explosives. Battle-tested playing in several high stakes games. Threw 24 interceptions over the last two seasons. Rattled against pressure and continues to make erratic decisions. Deep-ball accuracy and success rate was underwhelming. Reliant on short passes. Does not always recognize the backside coverage and it leaves him vulnerable. Arm strength does not respond well to bad weather. May have lost some velocity off his fastball after the elbow injury.
