One year starter. Honorable mention All-Big 10 in 2025. Was a rotational player with 12 starts over the past two years. Was voted a team captain in 2025. Relatively new to football he began playing in high school for a German team the Cologne Crocodiles before moving to the US and playing a season as a senior in high school. Has solid height, decent length, and well defined frame to go with ideal tight end speed. Hard working player with a lot of energy and a hot motor. Strong inline blocker with powerful hands and a violent punch. Plays with leverage and keeps his feet moving on contact. Tenacious to stay with blocks. Runs well and has improved finding open areas in zone coverage. Has speed to get vertical and can out run linebackers. Has decent hands and a big catch radius. Not a fluid or sharp breaking route runner. Needs more experience to learn the nuances of being a receiver. Needs to use his body better to shield himself from defenders settling in against zone coverage. Hands are all over the place when he's blocking, they tend to get outside the frame. Has not had a lot of catch production or run after catch. As he lacks experience, if drafted it will be based on traits and potential. He's been solid on special teams and there have been flashes of great potential. With his speed and size he could be a late round pick and get stashed on a practice squad.
