Four year starter. Jones was the 2025 Rimington Award winner as college football's top center. A two time first-team All-Big 10 player who started 49 games at center for Iowa. A lunch pail player, Logan is having a great post collegiate season. At the Combine, he posted the fastest forty time for offensive linemen at 4.90. Does a good job of securing blocks on second level blitzers. Has good quickness and hand-eye coordination when coming off the ball. Takes good angles getting to the linebackers. Has an excellent reach step. Consistently gets off the ball low. Appears to have listened to and believed in the lessons taught by his coaches. Solid at the first level before the climb. Leverage with hand placement is excellent. Pass protection is top notch. Has a great first step which allows hands and feet to coordinate getting the defender to run in place. Everything he does on the field is with maximum effort. Takes good angles to square up on defenders. Short arms are a detriment to his ability to sustain blocks. Needs to work on his anchor. A bit robotic. Sometimes a bit late on locating the blitzer. The 0 technique poses a problem for him. Needs to get stronger in particular with his run blocking. Gets moved back a bit. Questionable how he reacts to a long NFL season against behemoths every game. The accolades he's earned are not by accident. He's the top collegiate player at his position. The middle of the draft sounds like his landing spot.
