Three year starter. Transfer from James Madison in 2024. First-team All-Big 10, first-team consensus All-American, and Rose and Peach Bowl defensive MVPs in the 2025-26 season. He is only 5-9 and 173 but is the definition of a twitched up athlete. He plays bigger than his size with toughness and competitiveness, continually putting himself in position to make plays. He's experienced in multiple zone concepts along with press and off-man. Remarkable footwork fitting multiple techniques. In quarters and off-man he shows a quick shuffle pedal, transitioning to a lateral run. In quarters he gets his back to the boundary in a hurry. As a hard corner he re-routes with positioning and quick hands to disrupt the stem. He can be physical with receivers altering the route. Adept at balancing route combinations using peripheral vision to see threats and the quarterback's delivery key. Normally quick reacting with the ball in the air, on underneath throws he has an incredible closing burst. Consistently gets to the catch point forcing incompletions and breaking up passes. In press coverage he's reactive while throwing a stiff off-hand jam on outside releases. His quick feet and reactions allow him to handle double moves and rarely gives up leverage. Can stick route breaks and erase the quick game. Has the speed to stay with vertical routes. No fear taking on blocks he can mix it up with bigger receivers, come off blocks and tackle in space. Can be explosive driving into tackles. Rarely misses but shorter arms can affect him against bigger targets. Occasionally breaking on a hook or deeper comeback route, he'll take a slight stutter step making him slightly late reacting. He's also contributed on special teams on punt and kick block teams including a blocked punt for a touchdown. Despite size limitations he has starting potential in the NFL.
