Texas Tech | Hometown: Mobile, AL | HT: 6030 | WT: 322 | 40 time: 5.18 | Hand: 0900 | Arm: 3258 | Wing: 8100
Three year starter with two at UCF. First-team All-Big 12 and consensus second-team All-American in 2025. Transferred from UCF in 2025 after three seasons. Was a freshman at Auburn in 2021. Massive size and strength to go with long arms and wingspan. Played primarily from a 0 to a 2i with limited reps as a 3 technique. At his best as a two gap player holding the point and locating the ball. Shows a powerful stun on contact and can dispatch blockers with violent hands. Normally plays with leverage on blocks and can get to the ball side half of a blocker and move laterally. Flashes lateral agility in a short space redirecting off blocks. Versus inside and outside zone plays he flashes ability to get in a crease and make a play in the backfield. Chase speed is surprisingly good for a player his size. Tackles with power and drive inline. Gets some initial push in the pass rush and uses a bull rush to collapse the pocket. There has been little pass rush production as he's slow to shed and tends to get tied up. His pad level is inconsistent and often raises up on the snap. Seems to run out of gas as the game goes on. Has problems with down blocks and drive blocks on double teams. Can get raised up on a block if his initial strike doesn't create separation. Will need to develop more technique to stack and shed at the next level as he relied too much on brute strength. At this point he can be a run down space eater but may have upside for more.
2025 Stats: 41 T, 10.5 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 3 QBH, 1 FF. OSR:35/36. 10-1.79. Draft projection: 2nd/3rd round
