Two year starter. Honorable mention All-ACC in 2025. Solid defined frame with height and length. Powerful edge defender with a diverse skill set. Normally plays with energy and second effort. Can play all over the front and has played 4i to wide 9 in the Clemson front. Plays from a two and three point stance and flashes quickness at the snap and engages blockers with strong quick hands. He can stack and shed on the move showing a quick pop and pull move to get free. Excels at sifting inside to make plays against B to A gap runs. Lateral movement is very good and he can chase down ball carriers across the field from the backside. He's effectively dropped in flat coverage and can find the throwing lane while reading the quarterback and route combinations. Draws a lot of attention on pass plays and often sees a chip by a back or tight end. His power on a bull rush can collapse the pocket and he shows various hand swipes and a push pull to get free. Shows an inside counter off a bull rush with an out to in move. Flashes a closing burst to the quarterback once free. He didn't have the kind of productive season in 2025 he had the year before as he was inconsistent in most phases. At times got locked on blocks playing upright. His energy and motor seemed to wane at times as he had trouble getting off blocks and was late chasing at times. As a pass rusher he doesn't always finish and lacks elite bend to consistently turn the corner. There were times in later season games that the talent showed up, but it was more flash than consistency. That said, his overall skill set should fit well in the NFL.
