Following a lost freshman season in 2022 because of a ruptured Achilles tendon, Price has been a constant big play back for the Irish, averaging six yards per carry with an above average rate of picking up yards after contact. He has a no-nonsense running style with a simple on/off switch capable of creating big plays on a normal basis as seen with his nine games with multiple runs of ten-plus yards. He was never the lead back but he was a proven and consistent threat as a rotational weapon. Will create explosives with his cut and go style but his vision and lack of adjustment quickness will leave some yards on the field which adds to the limitations in his game. Sudden burst and acceleration takes advantage of inches and turns them into yards. WIll create after contact, showing enough balance to shake off defenders. Excels in space with a blend of creativity and pure speed. Does not adjust well in traffic. Shows tightness in his hips which creates labored movement when he needs to be sudden. Lacks a power element to his game to push defenders downhill. Had three fumbles inside the five-yard line in 2025. Rarely used in the passing game and is an ineffective blocker who fails to deliver a violent blow.
