Two year starter. First team All-ACC and third team AP All-America. Has a nice mix of size, strength and playing speed. Versatile player with incredible athleticism for his size. Played from a 5 technique down to a 0 with most of his work in 2025 on the interior. Has also been used effectively as a short yardage fullback. Spent the majority of his sophomore year as an edge defender playing from both a two and three point stance. Quick out of his stance he's a natural knee bender that explodes into blockers with strong hands. Flashes ability to separate from blocks while locating the ball. Has been effective at penetrating interior gaps on slant moves. Excellent inline agility he can redirect off blocks and make plays along the line of scrimmage. Remarkable range in pursuit for a big man as he moves well laterally allowing him to chase to the perimeter. As a pass rusher shows first step quickness to create a two way go inside. He's been effective with a chop and club move to get free. Coming from a 5 technique he shows ability to bend the edge rushing the passer. Shorter than ideal arms show up trying to separate from blocks as he can get stalemated and knocked upright too easily by powerful interior blockers. He occasionally is late off the ball and gets tall at the snap. Will fall off tackle attempts at times losing leverage coming off a block. Struggles with angle blocks and can get washed out of the play. Was more of a flash player than a consistent playmaker and had quiet moments where he was just a space eater. He did not play up to expectations or the hype prognosticators were giving him in 2025 as his production was middling. He still has the tools and upside but will need to develop technique and consistency.
