Miami | Hometown: Miami, FL | HT: 6022 | WT: 263 | 40 time: 4.70 | Hand: 0918 | Arm: 3078 | Wing: 7738
Three year starter, First-team All-ACC, consensus All-American and ACC Defensive Player of the Year in 2025. Thick build to go with a strong lower body power base. Versatile as he aligns from a 3 to a wide 9 with his hand in the dirt or a two point stance. He has been successfully moved inside in passing situations. He makes up for a lack of ideal length with extremely quick and strong hands attacking blocks. A powerful accurate strike with his hands along with natural knee bend allows him to control a blocker and set the edge. Can separate and redirect off blocks and make plays inside or on the perimeter. Adept at moving laterally to make plays inside from the edge. Stack and shed ability is at the top of the class. Quick at the snap he has an arsenal of pass rush moves and is adept at hand swipes to keep blockers off his frame. He has a quick powerful arm over off a club move and can also bull rush into a move. Can counter against oversets showing out to in moves with his outstanding lateral agility. Shows ideal bend and squeeze around the corner and accelerates to the quarterback. Adept at various stunts playing outside or the interior. Effective moving inside in passing situations working against guards as he can out quick or power rush an interior offensive lineman. While his lack of ideal length does not appear to affect his ability working against a blocker, it may be an issue tackling in space. He has a higher than average missed tackle percentage and has had some problems with shifty running backs. There's some inconsistency in gap integrity and he can be late reacting. He's been highly productive against the run and rushing the passer and should be a quality NFL defensive end.
