2026 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about MANSOOR DELANE:

LSU | Hometown: Silver Spring, MD | HT: 5116 | WT: 182 | 40 time: 4.38 | Hand: 0900 | Arm: 3034 | Wing: 7434

Three year starter with two at Virginia Tech. Transferred to LSU in 2025. First-team All-SEC and unanimous All-American in 2025. Athletic corner with loose hips and excellent body control. Experienced in multiple alignments, techniques, and coverage. Has been an effective outside zone corner primarily in deep quarter and third concepts. Also has experience in press and off man. In off man or zone coverage he often aligns with a big cushion and has used a flat foot catch technique on vertical releases. Also shows a smooth backpedal with solid timing on transitions to lateral to turn and run. In press man uses an off hand stab to disrupt route releases. Has excellent footwork and mirror ability to react and cut off route breaks. Flips his hips easily in transition as the route is extended vertically. Has the speed to stay with deep routes and is skilled at crowding a receiver off his path. Excellent zone awareness and positioning with ability to balance and react to multiple outside routes. Adept at reading the quarterback while looking for work in overlapping zones. Reliable balancing multiple routes in outside zones and taking away the throwing lane. Quick to pounce with the ball in the air and make some big hits at the catch point. No wasted movement reacting. Normally shows fundamental tackling skill with range to make plays across the field. Usually wraps up but tackles high at times with little power and can give up yards after contact. Could use more fundamental strength to take on stalk blocks and tackle. At times has failed to locate the ball in phase on a deep vertical route. Makes more tackles than plays on the ball. Plays a lot of tight coverage and can get a little grabby at times. Delane has remarkable physical and fundamental skill and projects as an elite NFL corner.

2025 Stats: 45 T, 11 PBU, 1 QBH, 2 INT. Draft projection: 1st round
