Three-year starter, Richton, MS. Spent two seasons at Jones County Junior College prior to transferring to Tulane in 2020. Has an intriguing combination of tools. He has a long, muscular build with a dancer’s ability to move his feet quickly in any direction. With the ball in the air, he is aggressive and strong. When running routes, he is quick and sudden. Once he has the ball in his hands, he can break tackles and play faster than he times. Has too many mistakes on tape and did not run a full route tree, thus the risk that comes with him will be high. The value of his ceiling is hard to ignore, however, as the list of traits have created a lot of quality tape over his career. Long arms and huge hands that swallow the ball. Evenly distributed muscle mass helps him handle contact from defenders well. Times the leaps and extensions for the ball. Fancy, crisp footwork as a route runner. Can stop and go on a dime. Can get himself open and create after the catch. Drops have been an issue his entire career. Long speed will not take the top off. Vertical separation is not there. Needs to show more effort as a blocker.
