Ourlads' Profile:

2017 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about FABIAN MOREAU: UCLA, 6000 205 4.36. Four-year starter from Sunrise, FL. Team co-captain in 2015 where he started the first three games then missed the rest of the season with an injury. Received all-conference honors three of four years. Second on the Bruins’ team with 12 passes defended in 2016. Looks the part of an NFL corner. Big, fast, and functionally strong. An A-plus athlete across the board. Big time speed and body control. Will not bail from his backpedal early and shows NFL turn and run movement. Developed footwork and good use of hands. Accurate placement and timing. Can stick his foot in the ground and drive hard on the ball. Brings a grown man’s presence on contact. Still needs some technique work and development. Will get grabby downfield at times. Must work on locating and tucking the ball without losing his speed. Tore a pectoral muscle while bench pressing at his pro day but should be ready by fall. Came to UCLA as a running back before making a switch to cornerback during his first year. Moreau is one of the best pure athletes in the entire class. His development is ongoing and if he can reach his upside, he could be the top corner in the class. Has a rare blend of tools and a skill set that appears to be catching up. The lack of feel and instincts is worrisome and could expose him early on, but in the right role he can be a difference maker while he develops. Shrine Game notes: Smooth and fluid athlete with excellent footwork and top level lower body movement. During the week he excelled in man-to-man coverage, off coverage, and on press and trail technique. Can stick his foot in the ground and drive quickly on the ball. Good ball skills. Excellent short area quickness and reactions. Stays on top of the deep receiver. Had a showcase week of his talent. 2016 stats: 31 T, 1 FF, 2 INT, 9 PBU. BTR:left 4.69, right 4.87. OSR:2/35. First/ second round. (A-31 3/4, H-9 1/4, VJ-38, SS-4.15).
