2023 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about TRE TUCKER:
Cincinnati | H: 5083 W: 175 40: 4.31 A: 2878 H: 0858 W: 7038
Two-year starter, Akron, OH. Second team All-AAC as a kick returner in 2021. Tucker is the kind of receiver who lives on the back end of the positional depth chart but makes an impact week to week. He will contribute on offense as a gadget weapon and slot receiver. Will add contributions on special teams as both a gunner and returner. A hard-nosed, competitive athlete with the kind of strength and balance that can somewhat make up for the diminutive frame. His impact comes from game breaking explosiveness and speed. Plays and roles will need to be engineered for him specifically but if they hit right, he will put points on the board. Strong and stable lower half that plays with incredible twitch and speed. Hits the top gear in a blink and will lengthen his separation once he wins. Toughness shows up in traffic. Adds versatility when it comes to alignments and multiple special teams forms of impact. Well below the desired size for the position, even slot receivers. Does not make the tough catch away from his body and he already works with a limited radius. Has some tightness in his hips that show up as a route runner and after the catch. He is more gadget than receiver, but he will show up on special teams as both a returner and gunner with the upside of an explosive playmaker on offense.
