Took inconsistent angles to the second level. Lacks the core strength at this time to halt a bull rush. Struggled in one-on-one drills versus two Illinois teammates - Dawuane Smoot and Carroll Phillips. They both put Davenport on skates and drove him back. More athlete than football player at this point. A raw talent. At Bucknell he lacked competition and rarely pass blocked on a run-oriented team. Got his shoulders turned in pass pro and run blocking. Flashes good use of hands at times. Gets up on his toes and loses knee bend and drops his hands in pass pro. Needs more functional strength. A developmental player who needs technique work.
