His weaknesses exist against power runs right at him where he simply can’t anchor against the double team and gives up too much ground. There is a lot of all-or- nothing to his game but in a league where most teams are searching for more interior pass rushers, he is a prospect that can be in a rotational role. Capable of swiping and double clubbing a blocker’s hands to free himself from attachment. Can simultaneously work his way to the passer, setting himself for the right angles and creases while getting off blocks. Excels on sure passing situations where he can have a one-focus mentality, get to the passer. Pursues the action hard, keeps the engine running. A bendy athlete who can really lower himself late. Isn’t blessed with size and power for the interior. Will always fight a power issue against run blockers. Has a cap on how stout he can be against the run. Won’t always stay square and will be ridden out of gaps. Does not perform well against double teams. Hand usage is inconsistent. 2019 stats: 41 T, 12 TFL, 10.5 sacks, 2 PBU, 2 QBH.
