Ourlads' Profile:
2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about MARK WEBB: Georgia, 6013 210 4.61. Part time starter the last two seasons, Philadelphia, PA. A versatile defender with experience at corner, safety, and nickel. Has primarily been used at the Star position which is an overhang player aligned on a slot receiver. Outstanding length and size he can be physical attacking slot receivers at the line. Mostly playing off he was effective jamming slots on route breaks in zone and man coverage. Shows solid mirror ability in man to man staying low and showing agility and footwork to stick on cuts. Has eye discipline to focus on receiver. As a zone defender he is adept at finding the throwing lane in flat coverage. Stays under deep routes and is quick to break on throws in front of him. Can be physical in run support stunning and separating from blocks. Tackles well in space breaking down and driving through tackles. Speed to cover vertical routes is a question as he has some trouble staying with speed receivers. Even though effective in press he can get out of phase as the route is extended. As a corner he may be limited in how he can be used. At the Senior Bowl was exposed to a variety of technique and seemed to struggle with some zone concepts. He may project to a safety at the next level. He impressed in some areas at the Senior Bowl and his athletic ability and length should get him drafted. He has been a solid special team player. 2020 stats: 21 T, 2 PBU, 1 INT. Sixth/seventh round. (A-32 1/8, H-10 1/8, VJ-36.5, SS-4.52).
