A versatile athlete who can play in either a zone or man scheme. Has long arms and big hands for the position. Mobile enough to protect a quarterback rolling out. Effective wall off position blocker who cuts well on the backside. Was the Virginia State Defensive Player of the Year as a senior in high school. During his red-shirt year he moved from defensive end to offensive tackle to guard. A strong and athletic guard talent who flashes an explosive punch with good body control. Walls off inside pursuit. Quick on pull cut blocks. Played more consistent in 2017 than 2016. Will have technique breakdowns at times and fail to finish his blocks.
