Ourlads' Profile:

2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about JORDAN DAVIS:

Georgia, 6063 341 4.78. Four-year starter, Charlotte, NC. Has been a part of a steady rotation of several current and future pro defensive linemen. First-team All-SEC and All-America. Winner of both the Outland Trophy and Chuck Bednarik Award. An imposing figure with a rare size and speed combination. When moving straight ahead, he is nearly impossible to knock off track. His arm length and grizzly bear-paws do enough damage alone to jolt blockers up and back. When he brings his lower body with him and has a fresh battery, the matchups almost seem unfair. Can really get moving in pursuit and will make plays away from the ball. Closes gaps in a hurry. Plays with urgency and twitch when he is fresh. Tremendous lockout strength that can be paired with a base he can put low to the ground. Has enough natural athleticism to put his body in different positions, change direction, and finish. Will bull rush his way through a pocket against lone blockers consistently. Has developed lateral rush moves and subtle movement post-snap to gain initial angle advantages. Not an every down player. Conditioning is an issue and simply does not offer enough on passing downs. Played just over half the snaps throughout his career. A lot of time spent with hands on hips between and before plays. Needs to recharge the batteries after a handful of plays. Will stand too tall, preventing his lower body from engaging their full capacity. Balance and body control are inconsistent. Has trouble with unplanned movement, stemming from tight ankles. Techniques are hot and cold. With this elite size and power presence comes a lack of play-to-play functionality. He won’t offer much against the pass and there are stretches where he just can’t seem to play the lateral game.

2021 stats: 32 T, 5.5 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 PBU, 1 QBH. Edge speed:left 1.90, right 2.15. OSR:3/36. First/second round. (A-34, H-10 3/4, BP-DNP, 10-1.68).
