In 2013 he was voted the Pac-12 Offensive and Defensive Freshman of the Year. He was also named to the second team All-Pac 12 on defense. Has big hands and long arms for the position. Myles is a versatile player with experience at inside and outside linebacker along with playing running back. Is technically sound along with being an outstanding athlete. Will fit into any number of defensive schemes. While he lacks ideal size he plays bigger and regularly stands up a blocker. He only played early in the season due to injury. If healthy he could be a top five pick. Excellent initial read and react with good patience. Once he “sees it” he goes with a burst. Good fits at the hole with the ability to adjust in pursuit. Very agile with sudden change of direction. Rarely out of position, good adjusting to cutbacks and misdirection. Takes good angles in pursuit and has excellent range to the edge with a closing burst. Is explosive attacking blockers getting good leverage with a quick powerful strike. Gets good separation and is normally quick to stack and shed. Wards off blocks and gets to the play in pursuit. Plays well in space and is a secure tackler with big play ability. Solid in coverage with good range in drops, re-route ability and man cover skill. Good zone awareness and a sudden break on the throw. He is a quick inside blitzer who can get through a crease and get upfield with good closing speed. Is sometimes a little out of control on a tackle and not always explosive on contact. 2014 stats: 87 T, 8 TFL, 7 PBU, 2 QBH, 113 yds rushing, 4.04 ypc, 3 TD. 2015 stats: 15 T, 1 INT.
