Ourlads' Profile:
2019 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about ANTOINE WESLEY: Texas Tech, 6041 206 4.60. Junior entry and one year starter from Las Vegas, Nevada. After struggling to find his way toward the top of the depth chart for two years, Wesley broke out in 2018 with a Big 12 leading 88-catch season. His ball skills and height/length alone are worth drafting late. His body needs work and he won’t ever be a burner, but knows how to make things happen with what he’s been given. Could be a weapon near the end zone and has enough upside to make an impact elsewhere down the road. Light-footed, long framed receiver with the ball skills and the competitive spirit that can make him tough to cover in 50/50 situations. Eye-hand coordination is a major plus. Slippery and sudden route runner that can create the initial window of space. Doesn’t have the speed or explosion to enhance separation. Can be caught from behind. Gets pushed around. Needs more muscle to create more stability in his movement and presence. Produced for just one year in college. 2018 stats: 88-1410, 16.0 ypr, 9 TD. Did not run at Combine, his choice. Seventh round/PFA. (A-34, H-9 3/4, VJ-37, SS-4.26).
