Ourlads' Profile:
2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about JASON CABINDA: Penn State, 6010 239 4.79. Three-year starter from Fleming, NJ. Shows good downhill ability with good fits at the inside gaps. Can be physical. Attacks block with knee bend and uses his hands well to shed. Makes a lot of plays inline. Shows the ability to chase and break down on a tackle. Shows range to get to the alley. Used often as a blitzer with an initial burst. Quick initial key reactions with good inline redirection. An explosive tackler. Good fundamental coverage drops but does not always recognize routes quickly or react on the throw. Lacks agility for man coverage. As a blitzer he tends to lock up if he does not get free with initial move. Can get caught on the wrong side of a block at times reacting in a short space. Needs to be consistent with ball side leverage. Came out on third downs and passing downs in some situations. Will be limited to a two down run stuffing linebacker who will have to perform on special teams to make a roster. East-West Shrine participant. 2017 stats: 88 T, 6.5 TFL, 2.5 sacks, 3 PBU, 1 QBH, 2 FF. Medical exclusion at Combine, right quad. Seventh round/ PFA. (A-32, H-9 5/8, BP-19, SS-4.22).
