Tallied 17 sacks and 29 ½ tackles for loss in three seasons, establishing new highs in both categories during 2017. Hubbard’s seven sacks and 13 ½ TFLs last year were second only to Nick Bosa, also forcing two fumbles to share the team lead. Set a career best in his final game with 3 ½ TFLs in Buckeyes’ Cotton Bowl triumph over USC. Buckeyes posted a 35-5 record during his three active seasons, including two bowl wins. A top lacrosse player in high school, Hubbard committed to playing that sport at Notre Dame before opting for football in Columbus. He first drew notice from Urban Meyer while playing dodgeball. An Academic All-American who completed his finance degree in December, Hubbard already has logged time at both Goldman Sachs and JPMorgan Chase in New York.
