Stands No.5 among Penn State’s all-time top tacklers with 321 stops, missing just one start in his last 47 games going back to his freshman season. Finished first or second on the team in tackles in each of his final three years, topped by a career-best 110 stops in 2016. That was the most tackles by a PSU safety since 2002 (Shawn Meyer) and second-best since at least 1969. Reached double digits in tackles twice in 2017, topped by 13 stops vs. Pittsburgh that included the Lions’ first safety since 2010. Highlight play of his PSU career came with 2016 blocked field goal vs. Ohio State that was returned for a TD by Grant Haley, capping the Lions’ comeback in a 24-21 triumph. Allen is the godson of Pro Football Hall of Famer Curtis Martin (Patriots, Jets).
