A starter since midway through his freshman season, Igwebuike finished career with 214 solo tackles, which ranked No.6 among active FBS players. His 324 total tackles also left him just outside Northwestern’s all-time top 10. Registered at least 78 tackles in each of his last three seasons, topped by 108 as a junior. Career stats also included seven interceptions, 24 pass breakups and 13 tackles for loss. Returned a fumble 45 yards vs. Bowling Green, setting up a second-half TD. Came up one short of matching his career best with 14 tackles vs. Duke. Dad Leo is a second cousin of former All-Pro RB Christian Okoye.
