Ourlads' Profile:
2007 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about CLARK HARRIS: Rutgers, 6054 261 4.83. Four-year starter with long snap skills. A big target with above average hands. Can separate versus man to man coverage. Above average first step quickness. Ran better routes in 2006. More precise and crisp. A red zone type receiver that can get open in short areas. Uses his body to cradle ball as needed. Durable receiver over his career. Needs to develop more moves to get off the line if head up with a linebacker. Fringe speed to be a vertical threat. Struggles to block on the move in space. Inline blocking strength is below average. May need to be schemed open to be effective. More receiver than blocker at this point. Understands the passing game to get open. He flashes quickness after snap and release. Runs sharp routes at times and is smooth in his turns. Would like to see more consistent physical play as a blocker and receiver. Can pluck the ball but will use his body at times. Needs to be more assertive in traffic to catch the ball. One speed player that is limited on run after catch. Has tools to be an effective blocker and receiver. They just need to be refined. Fifth/sixth round. (A-32 1/8, H-9 3/4, BP-21, VJ-32).
