Three-year starter, Lakeville, MN. Three-time first team All-NSIC and two-time Division II All-America. Played tackle and guard for Minnesota-Duluth, but will strictly be inside at the next level. He rotated between both guard and center during Shrine week, looking natural at both. The biggest issue will be a lack of reach. His short arms are going to be exposed by bigger defensive linemen at the next level and his anchor will not be ready early on to make up for it. Can move well out of his stance though and he gets on the right side of defenders with a relentless approach. The athletic lower half and nastiness will be a fit for a zone-heavy scheme that wants to take the time to develop him. Light feet and easy bend get him from point A to point B post-snap in a blink. Attacks his target and will latch on tight. Can mirror quick defenders in space, showing ability to adjust and react with body control. Will fight to maintain and re-adjust hand placement while staying square. Has a tendency to get high out of his stance. Needs to add weight and enhance core strength. Will struggle to win any lockout battles and will need to perfect his footwork. Making an enormous jump in competition. Brings desired movement and personality traits to the field but will be learning a new position while leaping up multiple stairs in competition.
