Ourlads' Profile:
2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about ISAIAH COULTER: Rhode Island 6017 198 4.43,. Junior entry, two-year starter, Brandywine, RI. Earned second-team All Colonial Athletic Association honors in 2019. The cousin to fellow receiver prospect Aaron Parker, also from Rhode Island. Was a surprise early entry who could have been a day two prospect next year. Currently, he displays a high ceiling that stems from his straight line athleticism and potential as a route runner. Has good footwork and hands, but struggles to play strong and lacks explosive traits downfield. The potential is there, he is simply rough around the edges and needs time. Carries plus length and speed with good lateral quickness and suddenness. Advanced route runner who puts a lot of attention to detail off the line. A loose and efficient lower half that can play slippery but smooth. Gets the initial separation with strong plant and drive burst. Has steady eyes underneath and intermediate that can track and see the ball in. Will pluck the ball, a pure hands catcher with acrobatic ability. Can miss contact by defenders after the catch and has good vision. Struggles to get and maintain deep separation as a deep route runner. Doesn’t always play to his speed and will slow down too much when tracking the downfield pass. Playing strength is inconsistent, gets moved by contact too easily. 2019 stats: 72-1039, 14.4 ypr, 8 TD. OSR:24/51. Fourth/fifth round. (A-31 3/4, H-9, VJ-36, SS-4.64).
