Ourlads' Profile:

2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about DAURICE FOUNTAIN: Northern Iowa, 6015 210 4.46. Three-year starter from Madison, WI. An underrated and little known prospect going into the season. However, after having a successful four year career he earned himself an invitation to the East-West Shrine Game. Had a very good week of practice and was the most talented receiver in the group. He culminated the experience earning offensive MVP game honors. Inside and outside receiver. Good blend of size, speed, athleticism, and hands. Explosive off the ball and can accelerate out of a break. Has some work to do at the top of his routes to become a consistent and dependable target, but he has the tools to develop into a big-time route runner. Wins at the line of scrimmage with quickness and hand play. Long arms, leaping ability, and strong hands give him a big catch radius. Catches the ball away from his body with skill and quick hands. Good timing and ability to make contested catches. Tracks the football with good focus and squares his shoulders to attack the ball. Has run after catch ability. Competitive kid with good energy on the field and in the meeting room. Learns well enough and was able to play multiple positions. Showed some flash as a punt return man during the all-star game with a big return to set up a touchdown for the offense. Has long term potential with enough athletic and special teams’ ability to make a team. Displayed throughout the course of the week and game at the East-West Shrine experience that he should be considered as a late day two, early day three talent. 2017 stats: 66-943, 14.3 ypr, 12 TD. Not invited to Combine. Third/fourth round. (A-34 1/2, H-9 1/2, VJ-42.5, SS-4.30).
