Ourlads' Profile:
2022 Guide: What Ourlads’ NFL Scouting Services said about ISAIAH WESTON:
Northern Iowa, 6034 214 4.39. Three-year starter from Albertville, MN. Dropped a lot of balls over the span of his collegiate career. A frame that will draw NFL decision makers’ attention. Long and fast, but slender and narrow with shorter arms and smaller hands than expected. Maximizes his catch radius. Good downfield ball skills will intrigue in later rounds. Attacks the high point with aggression. Struggles with contested catches at times. Limited moves versus press coverage. Room for improvement in tracking deep balls. Showed constant improvement throughout his career. More upside, than down. A long strider with limited explosion out of breaks. Wasted steps consistently on deep comebacks, reflecting some struggles with clean transitions. More build-up speed than long speed. Early expectations will be as a vertical threat high ball winner. Ran a fairly limited route tree and was used as a big deep target during collegiate career. Runs routes at one speed, will need to get better using different tempos.
