Ourlads' Profile:

2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about DREW HIMMELMAN: Illinois State 6091 317 5.30 Four-year starter, Geneseo, IL. Didn’t have a 2020 fall season due to Covid-19. Making Himmelman a rare player who will play games in the FCS spring season and then possibly get drafted in April. William V. Campbell trophy finalist. Was named first-team FCS All- America in 2019. Overall he projects as a developmental tackle  that starts off on the practice squad and eventually develops into a quality swing tackle after a year or two. He is a smart, hard working player with tools who wants to get better. Rare height and good length. His basketball experience translates to the gridiron, he can slide his feet and mirror. Solid quickness. By coming back for a spring season, he has shown he is dedicated toward improving his craft. Still has upside to ascend. The low man wins, and he is rarely the low man. Struggles anchoring a bull rush due to his leverage. Doesn’t get movement off the ball. Needs to improve his strength and power. Struggles to redirect to two-move pass rushers. Reminds us of former angular Arkansas tackle and NFL journeyman, Dan Skipper who has made a good living in the league because he is tough and smart. Sixth/seventh round. (A-NA, H-NA, BP-NA, 10-NA).
