Ourlads' Profile:

2019 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about GREG LITTLE: Mississippi, 6052 310 5.31. Junior entry from Allen, TX. Has three years of starting experience. First-team All SEC in 2018 after being named second-team in 2017. Has the ideal physical package for the hard-to-find left tackle position and more than enough tape to warrant the belief he can be a solid player there in the NFL. The athletic ability is there and while his power presence appears good enough against the bull rush, he struggled to lock defenders up over and over all year. The hand-techniques are vital to success in the NFL and it may be his biggest issue. A lot of work to be done for Little and if he consistently works at it, his future is bright. But the one thing a team will need to be sure about is his work ethic/passion/drive. Ideal frame. Checks all the boxes when it comes to triangle numbers. Fast-twitched feet that can meet pass rusher at the edge as well as reach the second level in a blink. Easy mover like he is sliding on ice. Initial contact is consistent when it comes to his punch and balance. Looks under control as shows the right balance of patience and aggression. Won’t over pursue. Trusts and knows his athletic ability is good enough to win the initial battle against speed. Easy knee bend and a lot of body mass that make it awfully difficult for a defender to bull rush. Can really anchor his position. Needs to do a better job sustaining his blocks. Too often his defender will wiggle free after contact. It’s like his hands have Vaseline on them. Can be caught off-guard and tricked by misdirection. Needs a lot of hand-combat work. OSR:22/39. First/ second round. (A-35 1/4, H-10 1/4, BP-27, 10-1.83).
