Ourlads' Profile:

2021 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about MARQUEZ STEVENSON: Houston, 5100 182 4.40. Three-year starter, Shreveport, LA. Earned first-team All AAC honors in both 2018 and 2019. A big play threat any time he steps foot on the field whether it’s on offense or special teams. Over his last 30 games, he scored 27 touchdowns split between a receiver, rusher, and returner. His speed shows up across multiple roles. If there is a crease, he can explode through it in a hurry. As a pure receiver, he has the size of a slot but he hasn’t shown enough consistency as a route runner or pass catcher. There are concerns around his effort and durability. When it comes to pure speed and big play potential he is on a short list of blazers in this class. Blazing speed that has the juice to get over the top. Flips the switch and hits that top gear in a hurry. Will put a defender on his heels off the line. Can track the deep ball over his shoulder without a loss of control. Dangerous after the catch. Will find creases and windows to slip through. Can make his sharp cuts and turns while moving at his full speed. Adds value as a returner. Three kick return touchdowns over his last 13 games. Little bit of a one-tricky pony as a receiver. Rounded route runner that doesn’t quite use his athleticism to his maximum potential. Very slight frame. Won’t respond well to contact by a press corner. Inconsistent hands will allow the ball into his body underneath. Effort and pure hustle runs hot and cold. Dealt with durability issues early in his career. 2020 stats: 20-307, 15.4 ypr, 4 TD. Sixth/seventh round. (A-31, H-8 1/2, VJ-NA, SS-NA).
