Has the size and ability to play outside receiver but has experience operating from the slot. Will eat up a cushion off of the line of scrimmage with long strides when given a free release. Hands catcher. Attacks the football on 50/50 balls, squaring his shoulders and rebounding the football. His length and leaping ability make him a great red zone threat. Strider who has more than top end speed for his size. Good weight room strength putting up 18 reps at the Combine. Has the ability to sustain run blocks when he gives good effort. Doesn’t always run hard and compete when working back of pass play schemes. Marginal competitor who gives minimum effort on backside run fits as well. Lazy stance at times. Needs to refine his route work technique. Doesn’t have great route stems yet and will need to learn to manipulate corners with moves throughout routes. Weight room doesn’t transfer to playing strength. He gets widened or knocked off his path too often by cornerbacks. Big physical corners who play bump-run technique could give him issues early on. Possesses all of the necessary physical abilities and tools to be a successful outside receiver. Will need some time to develop more consistent route running, run blocking, and competitive play.
