Ourlads' Profile:

2017 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about DAESHON HALL: Texas A&M, 6053 265 4.78. Two-year starter from Lancaster, TX. Lines up at left end opposite Myles Garrett. Disciplined player who stays on his assignment. Can read on the run while engaged with blockers. Will separate and put himself in the position to attack the ball carrier. Makes a lot of hustle plays, especially when the offense is running away from Garrett on the other side. Exceptional flexibility from head to toe. Explodes out of his stance and eats up ground quickly. Plays balanced and is always in control of his body. Sudden change of direction. Has the ability to split a double team and burst. Needs to improve his tackling strength for the next level. Plays more of a finesse game than a physical man strength snot bubble affair. Doesn’t really punch and stun a blocker snapping his head back. Gets turned too easily at times in the run game. Instincts sometimes appear off. Four year contributor who made a fulltime position move from outside linebacker to defensive end in 2015. Still has some rawness to his game but the tools and ability cannot be overlooked. Has some of the best natural talent and overall upside in the entire class. His strength needs to catch up to his weight gain but when it does, every other trait is ready to go. Has uncanny bend-ability and straight line explosion, making him a nightmare for any blocker. His versatility as an inside-outside rusher could really get a defensive coordinator excited. Enormous upside. Senior Bowl notes: Has an explosive first step but needs to add more tools to his tool box. Needs work on counter moves. Plays better on the move. Slants, angles, and twists. Needs more hand strength. Gets stuck on blocks. Good lateral quickness. 2016 stats: 50 T, 13 TFL, 4.5 sacks, 1 PBU, 12 QBH, 2 FF. Edge speed:left 2.04, right 2.15. OSR:8/40. Fourth/ fifth round. (A-34 5/8, H-9 1/2, BP-18, 10-1.68).
