Ourlads' Profile:

2020 Guide: What Ourlads' Scouting Services said about JORDAN GLASGOW: Michigan, 6001 221 4.75. One year starter, Aurora, IL. Semi-finalist for the Butkus award in 2019. A former walk-on, he has experience at safety, nickel/hybrid and Will linebacker. Found a home at Will this past season and was productive. The definition of high motor, he is undersized but consistently around the ball and even if out of the play never stopped hustling. Played off the ball mostly inside but had reps on the edge. Quick with initial read he shows solid lateral and downhill movement fitting inside gaps. Explosive to strike a blocker with knee bend and active feet working to the ball. Flashes shed ability with quick hands warding off blocks on the move. Gets through the wash. Has range to chase to the perimeter. As a slot defender stuns and separates from blocks in the alley and drives through tackles in space. Safety-like skills in pass coverage, he displays awareness in zone drops and flips his hips to get underneath a route. Used often in man coverage he showed enough speed to stay with a tight end up the field and a back on a wheel route. Effective blitzing inside or outside with a burst to close on the quarterback. Lacks ideal size for a Will linebacker and can get covered up. Occasionally heavy footed reacting and can show some stutter step changing directions. Will be overaggressive at times and run himself out of a play. Has been outstanding on cover teams with a nose for the ball. Makes a lot of plays. Doesn’t have the physical numbers of an elite prospect but he is too productive to ignore. Has a shot on special teams and as a versatile backup. Shrine Bowl notes: Displayed high energy all week including the game. Played in the box with linebacker-like instincts and fit backside gaps in pursuit. Plays downhill against the run. Tough in the alley shedding blocks and tackling. Flashed matchup skill and stayed in phase up the field versus inside receivers. While not the most fluid, flashed agility and held his own in coverage. Versatile. 2019 stats: 89 T, 7 TFL, 5 sacks, 1 PBU, 4 QBH, 1 BK. Not invited to Combine. Sixth/seventh round. (A-30 5/8, H-9 7/8, BP-DNP, SS-DNP).
