Stenberg has the size and physical play to be a dominant run blocker at the next level. Gets his hands on fast and can glue them to a defender while keeping his feet chopping. He gets good movement off the ball. His issues arise when he needs to pass protect and/or move laterally. Doesn’t play with a low center of gravity and the body control seems to be lost against speed and quickness. He projects as a backup early on in his career but there are tools to develop. A punch in-punch out every day kind of player. Has strong hands to lock his man up while swinging his hips into the hole. Can be an overwhelming blocker. Smart and aware. Will see the field and recognize the defense’s approach. Stiff and high out of his stance. Rarely wins the leverage battle and it shows against quality, NFL-caliber defenders. Has a hard time staying upright as a result of a thin base and lack of lower body drive. Too upper body dependent. Will lean and bend from the waist. Not invited to Combine. Sixth/seventh round.
