Ourlads' Profile:

2015 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about AMEER ABDULLAH: Nebraska, 5086 205 4.52. Three-year starter from Homewood, AL. A game-changing runner who is more than a scatback. Impressive senior campaign. A team captain during both his junior and senior year and holds the Nebraska all-time records for career all-purpose yards, career carries, career 300-yard all-purpose games, and season 200- yard rushing games. The only player in Nebraska history to have three 1,000-yard rushing seasons and ranks second on Nebraska’s all-time rushing chart with 4,296 career rushing yards. Explosive and quick with very good acceleration. Has the vision and cutback ability to find the right holes and make defenders miss. A tough runner who finishes runs and also has the ability to be an effective pass receiver out of the backfield. While size may limit his ability to become a workhorse featured back at the next level, he should fit very nicely in a time share backfield side by side with more a powerful/bruising type of runner. Good initial quickness and run instincts with the ability to create. Has a natural feel for running the ball. Very good balance and runs with a low pad level. Good vision with the ability to be quick to the hole. Bursts through crease and has cutback ability versus flow. Good eye/hand coordination. Undersized for the position. Willing pass blocker, but his lack of size limits his ability to be effective. Ball security is an issue and he has the tendency to fumble with a total of 23 career fumbles where 16 were lost. 2014 stats: 1611 yds, 6.1 ypc, 19 TD, 22 rec, 269 yds, 3 TD. OSR:2/34. Second/third round. (A-30, H-8 5/8, BP-24, SS-3.95).
