2018 Guide: What Ourlads' NFL Scouting Services said about TYRELL CROSBY: Oregon, 6045 309 5.26. Four-year starter from Henderson, NV with experience on both sides. Got on the field as a freshman because of injuries to players ahead of him on the depth chart. Started nine games and led the team in pancake blocks. After starting every game in 2015, he was ready for the national spotlight in 2016 but only played three games due to a foot injury. Came back strong last fall and started every game at left tackle. He is thick and long with credible power and strength. Can really make an impact on contact, redirecting linemen and linebackers. His hands replicate bear paws if he gets locked on. A very smart and aware player on the field. Understands angles and where to get his feet and hands. Doesn’t always look pretty, but consistently gets the job done. May not have the adjustment and reaction quickness you want out of a left tackle. Doesn’t always trust his lower half and gets too top heavy, often leaning and lunging without setting himself up to recover if he doesn’t initially win. Overly dependent on the initial contact and if he doesn’t win that, he is in trouble. Could play right tackle or guard in the NFL early in his career. Has footwork to clean up. However at his worst can be a guy that usually gets the job done. A high floor, high ceiling prospect. OSR:19/38. Second/third round. (A-35 1/4, H-10 3/4, BP-17, 10-1.89).
