Round 1
1
  Chiefs
Luke JoeckelOT Texas A&M
Although quarterback is clearly the Chiefs top positional need, there isn't one worthy of being drafted here. The Chiefs could look to trade down. With Branden Albert at left tackle there isn't a clear need there either but he could be moved inside or to right tackle. Bottom line, Luke Joeckel is the best player available and a franchise left tackle will be a big help to whomever they use at quarterback in the future. Luke Joeckel is a true junior with ideal size and plenty of experience opening running lanes and shutting down the best pass rushers in the Big 12 and the SEC.
2
  Jaguars
Dee MillinerDC Alabama
The Jaguars have a number of needs and replacing Rashean Mathis at cornerback is chief among them. New Head coach Gus Bradley was the defensive coordinator at Seattle and knows how essential it is to have good cornerbacks. Dee Milliner is one of the surest/safest selections a team can make because he has excellent measurables and was the best player on one of the best defenses in the most talented conference in all of college football.
3
  Raiders
Eric FisherOT Central Michigan
The Raiders had been a mismanaged franchise under Al Davis, perhaps with Reggie McKenzie running the show things will change. The Raiders have a number of needs with offensive tackle being one of them even though they recently signed Alex Barron. Eric Fisher possesses excellent size and athleticism and dominated while at Central Michigan and further proved himself while at the Senior Bowl against improved competition showing he could become a franchise left tackle for the next decade.
4
  Eagles
Star LotuleleiDT Utah
New head coach Chip Kelly is an offensive minded coach and might consider drafting a quarterback here. Star Lotulelei is clearly the best defensive tackle in the draft. They drafted defensive tackle Fletcher Cox in the first round last year. Together the two of them could lock down the defensive end positions that are so important in the 3-4 defense they now intend to run. Lotulelei albeit a big body, moves quite well. He can provide an interior pass rush, stuff the run and make plays in pursuit and has drawn comparisons to Haloti Ngata.
5
  Lions
Lane JohnsonOT Oklahoma
The Lions lost left tackle Jeff Backus to retirement and right tackle Gosder Cherilus to the Colts via free agency and keeping Matthew Stafford healthy has got to be their number one priority. Last year's first round draft pick Riley Reiff is not a good fit at left tackle and is rumored to be moved inside to guard. With in state talent Eric Fisher gone Lane Johnson makes sense. Johnson may possess the highest upside of all the offensive tackles in the draft. He has ideal athleticism and enough size but has the frame to carry more weight and plays with a natural nastiness that is required.
6
  Browns
Dion JordanDE Oregon
The Browns new ownership, coach (Rob Chudzinski) and personnel director (Mike Lombardi) are not married to quarterback Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy has a concussion issue and has been rumored as trade bait, so they might consider a quarterback here. The Browns don't have a premier pass rusher and pass rusher's are a premium in the NFL. Dion Jordan is an extremely rare talent. He excels in coverage whether it be man or zone and possesses an extremely quick first step off the line.
7
  Cardinals
Barkevious MingoOB LSU
The Cardinals need a quarterback, a left tackle, a tight end and an outside linebacker. The value at quarterback isn't there and the top left tackles are already taken. Barkevious Mingo has unlimited potential and ideal measurables and can rush the passer and drop into coverage.
8
  Bills
Jonathan CooperOG North Carolina
The Bills offensive line is only average and they lost probably their best offensive lineman, Andy Levitre to the Titans in free agency. Johnathan Cooper would be able to step right in to the vacant left guard spot. Cooper is an excellent guard prospect with exceptional athleticism. He excels both as a run blocker and pass blocker.
9
  Jets
Ezekiel AnsahDE BYU
The Jets have a desperate need at outside linebacker. Ezekial Ansah is very green but possesses ideal size, strength and athleticism. Ansah has a lot to learn but excels as a chaser and if he is put in a position to succeed will provide some much needed edge speed to the Jets defense.
10
  Titans
Sharrif FloydDT Florida
The Titans shouldn't have let Jeff Fisher go and I doubt Mike Munchak will be successful as their head coach. Defensive linemen such as Sen'Derrick Marks (who actually recently signed with the Jaguars), Jurell Casey, Karl Klug, Mike Martin are all undersized overacheiver types. A top tier defensive lineman to headline this group is needed.
11
  Chargers
Xavier RhodesDC Florida State
The Chargers lost both of their starting cornerbacks (Antoine Cason and Quentin Jammer) this offseason. Shareece Wright and Marcus Gilchrest have potential but are no means a guarentee to succeed. Xavier Rhodes is a bigger cornerback with excellent speed and athleticism. Rhodes plays physical in press man and supports the run with vigor.
12
  Dolphins
Kenny VaccaroFS Texas
The Dolphins entire secondary needs help. Chris Clemons and Reshard Jones are subpar and need to be replaced. Kenny Vaccaro is a very versatile player who is capable of playing the deep middle and near the line of scrimmage.
13
  Jets   F/TB
Tavon AustinWR West Virginia
Assuming the Buccaneers acquire Darrelle Revis at cornerback and still possess this pick expect them to select Tavon Austin. Austin would really round out the skill position talent of what is primarily a power/ball control offense. He would be an ideal slot receiver and can be the change of pace back they lack as well as a highly effective return specialist bringing some dynamic playmaking ability to their offense.
14
  Panthers
Sheldon RichardsonDT Missouri
The Panthers defensive line needs an influx of youth and talent. Sheldon Richardson is an ideal fit in a penetrating 4-3 defensive front. Richardson is an extremely coordinated and athletic defensive linemen who can expose less athletic interior offensive linemen and wreak havoc in offensive backfields.
15
  Saints
Cordarrelle PattersonWR Tennessee
The Saints lost Robert Meachum last year and Devery Henderson is now a free agent. The Saints play a lot of multiple wide receiver sets and Cordarrele Patterson is very good value here and has unlimited potential. Patterson needs to work on his route running but is one of the most dangerous open field runners I have ever seen. He will excel on wide receiver screens, go routes, reverses and as a returner from day one.
16
  Rams
Chance WarmackOG Alabama
The Rams need to come away from the draft having addressed at least two of their glaring needs such as wide receiver, guard and safety and with two picks in the first round they should pick the surest/safest bets at any of those positions.
17
  Steelers
Justin HunterWR Tennessee
The Steelers lost Mike Wallace to the Dolphins in free agency. The Patriots nearly signed away Emmanuel Sanders but the Steelers matched their offer but that only keeps Sanders around for one year. Beyond Antonio Brown and Sanders who are both mighty mites they have Plaxico Burress and Jericho Cotchery. A bigger wide receiver with contract and cost certainty who can play outside the numbers is needed and Justin Hunter is an ideal fit for that. Hunter has good deep speed, leaping ability and a large catch radius.
18
  Cowboys
Kawaan ShortDT Purdue
The Cowboys top need is a real General Manager. Jerry Jones should stick to writing checks and not scouting and drafting players. The Cowboys hired Monty Kiffin to deploy his Tampa Two zone defense so wholesale changes along the defensive line is in order. Adding Kawann Short makes sense from a need and value standpoint. Short is stout enough to help stop the run and possesses enough quickness and pass rush moves to be an effective pass rusher.
19
  Giants
Alec OgletreeIB Georgia
The Giants are fortunate to have Jerry Reese as their General Manager. Last year they had what I think will prove to be an excellent draft. Middle linebacker Chase Blackburn is a tough, instinctive leader but is not talented enough to remain the starter which is why he was cut a couple of years ago. Alec Ogletree has good size and fantastic athleticism who can play all downs and distances and only slips this far down because of some off field character issues.
20
  Bears
Khaseem GreenOB Rutgers
The Bears problem was not Lovie Smith and it was a mistake to fire him. Given that they addressed tight end and left tackle through free agency expect them to select Khaseem Greene to play middle linebacker after letting Bryan Urlacher leave. Greene is a little undersized but very athletic, instinctive and productive.
21
  Bengals
Matt ElamSS Florida
The Bengals defensive front is more than solid and given the fact they resigned Rey Mauluga and Adam Jones, if they were to draft for the defensive side of the ball expect them to take a safety. Matt Elam is an excellent prospect and a very safe pick. Elam is short but well built and athletic enough with amazing instincts and experienced playing the deep middle and covering the slot receiver as well.
22
  Rams   F/WAS
DeAndre HopkinsWR Clemson
With the Rams having already drafted a guard in this scenario and two of the top safeties are already gone, expect them to select a wide receiver here. Deandre Hopkins doesn't display great timed speed but plays much faster. Hopkins is a highly competitive football player with excellent hands and route running ability.
23
  Vikings
Sylvester WilliamsDT North Carolina
The Vikings Need to add some talent and youth to their interior defensive line given Kevin Williams age and the lack of talent next to him. Sylvester Williams has really good size and an excellent motor, keeps his feet moving and is constantly moving forward to continue to press the pocket and is stout enough to stuff the run.
24
  Colts
Jarvis JonesOB Georgia
The Colts need help in a lot of areas, especially the defensive front for a 3-4 defensive front. Jarvis Jones could be considered a medical red flag because of a spinal stenosis condition discovered due to aformer spine injury at the beginning of his college career while at USC. Jones was a handful at Georgia and one of the most disruptive defensive players in college football over the last two years.
25
  Vikings   F/SEA
Robert WoodsWR Southern Cal
The Vikings already had a need at wide receiver before they traded Percy Harvin to the Seahawks and although they signed Greg Jennings this offseason that is more or less just replacing the loss of Harvin and the original need for a receiver still exists. Robert Woods has enough speed and good size and excellent hands and route running ability.
26
  Packers
Jamar TaylorDC Boise State
The Packers top need is runningback except it would be a reach to take one here and although the runningback class isn't loaded with top end talent it is very deep and a good back can be taken in rounds two or three. You can never have enough cornerbacks and Jamar Taylor has been rising. Taylor has good size and tested out extremely well in virtually all categories at the combine. He plays very well in off and man coverage and is a very capable and willing tackler.
27
  Texans
Terrance WilliamsWR Baylor
The Texans have needed a wide receiver to play opposite Andre Johnson ever since he got to Houston and now that he has gotten older that need has increased. Terrence Williams had a monster season at Baylor this year even without Robert Griffin III. Williams has good size with good deep speed and a solid route runner who competes for the ball making him a good fit to play opposite Johnson and maybe his eventual heir apparent.
28
  Broncos
Tyler EifertTE Notre Dame
The Broncos have a number of weapons on offense but have needs at running back and tight end. Tyler Eifert is a well rounded tight end who is a very nice athlete and an underrated blocker with ideal size and very good hands and good intangibles.
29
  Patriots
Damontre MooreDE Texas A&M
The Patriots still need pass rush help but with three rookie defensive ends making the team last year (Chandler Jones, Jake Bequette and Justin Francis) they should be given a chance to develop but Damontre Moore is too good to pass up here. Moore's stock has fallen because of a subpar performance at the Combine but his game tape is extraordinary and the teams that passed on him will regret it. He is extremely quick and explosive off the line with excellent instincts and pass rush moves.
30
  Falcons
Bjoern WernerDE Florida State
For such a successful team the Falcons have a number of needs. John Abraham is old and a free agent. Ray Edwards was a bust signing and let go during the season. Kroy Bierman is a good player but not exceptional. Even though they wound up signing Osi Umenyiora expect them to take a defensive end if the likes of a Bjoern Werner is available. Werner is a little inexperienced but displayed how effective he can be as pass rusher while at Florida State.
31
  49ers
Jesse WilliamsDT Alabama
The 49ers could use a better fit at nose tackle in their 3-4 defensive front. Isaac Sopoaga was signed by the Eagles and there is little depth at the position. Jesse Williams could prove to be an instant upgrade over Sopoaga due to his extraordinary strength and prior experience in a 3-4 defense at Alabama. Williams is stout at the point of attack, plays with a good motor and for someone his size he runs well but isn't overly coordinated and doesn't provide much of a pass rush.
32
  Ravens
Arthur BrownOB Kansas State
With Ray Lewis retiring and Danell Ellerbe being signed away by the Dolphins an inside linebacker would make sense here. Rolando McClain was signed to a one year deal and is a risk. Arthur Brown is a little undersized but very active against the run and extremely good in pass coverage.
Round 2
33
  Jaguars
Datone JonesDE UCLA
The Jaguars defensive line isn't totally devoid of talent because they have Jason Babin, Jeremy Mincey and former first round pick Tyson Alualu but more talent, depth and competition is required. Datone Jones has the size talent and strength to rotate at defensive end and defensive tackle.
34
  49ers   F/KC
Zach ErtzTE Stanford
Even though the 49ers have Vernon Davis at tight end, they lost Delanie Walker in free agency and Zach Ertz was recruited and coached by Jim Harbaugh and is good value here. Ertz has good hands and is very athletic but needs to improve as a blocker.
35
  Eagles
Desmond TrufantDC Washington
The Eagles lost Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in free agency and released Namdi Asomugha. Even though they signed Cary Williams they still need help at cornerback. Desmond Trufant has good bloodlines, both of his brother's (Isaiah and Marcus) play cornerback in the NFL and he has decent size and speed and plays a feisty brand of football.
36
  Lions
Jordan PoyerDC Oregon State
The Lions have had a perpetual need at cornerback and Jordan Poyer is an excellent all around athlete with good ball skills and should start right away for the Lions.
37
  Bengals   F/OAK
DJ FlukerOT Alabama
The Bengals don't appear to be in any rush to re-sign Andre Smith and if DJ Fluker is still available at this point and with some people thinking he is versatile enough to play either left or right tackle he could certainly be their selection here. Fluker is extra large with excellent lower body power and long arms and powerful hands who excels as a run blocker.
38
  Cardinals
Geno SmithQB West Virginia
With Quarterback still the Cardinals most glaring need and Geno Smith still available, spending a second round pick on him would make a lot of sense. Smith was ultra productive while at West Virginia and possesses decent arm strength and accuracy with above average athleticism.
39
  Jets
Tyler BrayQB Tennessee
The Jets need to groom another quarterback for the future. Tyler Bray is young with ideal size and amazing arm strength.
40
  Titans
Dallas ThomasOT Tennessee
The Titans head coach Mike Munchak is a Hall of Fame guard and has a greater appreciation for offensive linemen than some others in the league. They have two solid offensive tackles and recently signed the top interior offensive lineman available in free agency, Andy Levitre. With all that said, Dallas Thomas is an in state talent and excellent value here who can play both guard and tackle and would really round out their offensive line quite well for the immediate and long term future.
41
  Bills
Ryan NassibQB Syracuse
The Bills definitely need to select their quarterback of the future. Ryan Nassib, a recent graduate from Syracuse who's coach was Doug Marrone who is now the head coach of the Bills is experienced in his system and possesses solid arm strength, good mobility and can quckly decipher where to deliver the football.
42
  Dolphins
Eric ReidFS LSU
The Dolphins safeties (Chris Clemons and Reshad Jones) are subpar and significant liabilities in pass coverage. Eric Reid would be an improvement over either one of them and would probably start from day one.
43
  Buccaneers
David AmersonDC North Carolina State
The Buccaneers are in need of cornerbacks even if they get Darrelle Revis. David Amerson has excellent size and arm length and straight line speed. Amerson had a subpar senior season but for the most part was highly effective and a heck of a ballhawk.
44
  Panthers
Johnathan HankinsDT Ohio State
Improving the size and talent along the Panthers defensive line will help clog up the middle and occupy interior offensive linemen and allow Luke Kuechly to roam free and make even more plays. Johnathan Hankins has enormous potential and is very athletic for a big man.
45
  Chargers
Menelik WatsonOT Florida State
Jeremy Clary was never very good and has only gotten worse over the years and the Chargers should let him go. Menelik Watson is an inexperienced right tackle but has ideal size and athleticism for the position and may be suitable to play left tackle as well.
46
  Rams
Keenan AllenWR California
Keenan Allen's stock has dropped since the beginning of the college season because of injury, poor quarterback play and a poor workout. Allen's tape is actually quite good and could prove to be a steal here.
47
  Cowboys
Brennan WilliamsOT North Carolina
The Cowboys offensive line needs help. Brennan Williams is a prototypical right tackle who can both run and pass block.
48
  Steelers
Jamie CollinsOB Southern Mississippi
The Steelers released James Harrison due to cap issues and is unlikely to be brought back. Jamie Collins was an ultra productive defensive end at Southern Mississippi who performed extremely well at the combine and projects as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 and should be an ideal fit for the Steelers.
49
  Giants
Phillip ThomasFS Fresno State
The Giants lost Randy Phillips in free agency. Phillip Thomas was very productive at Fresno State and a true ballhawk who reads quarterbacks well and takes advantage when mistakes are made.
50
  Bears
Larry WarfordOG Kentucky
The Bears offensive line has been terrible for years and they just lost Lance Louis, who was actually their best offensive linemen, to the Dolphins as a free agent. Selecting Larry Warford here is excellent value. Warford is a very good right guard prospect who is a mauler that also uses his surprising athleticism to pull and locate well in the run game and is very good at mirroring and redirecting while pass protecting.
51
  Commanders
Logan RyanDC Rutgers
The Redskins released Deangelo Hall and already were deficient in the secondary prior to that. Logan Ryan has very good size and is a very physical cornerback with decent athleticism with excellent instincts who supports the run very well.
52
  Vikings
Alex OkaforDE Texas
The Vikings have Jared Allen who is still fantastic but getting older. Everson Griffin has been emerging. Bryan Robison is solid but unspectacular. So, defensive end isn't really a top need but Alex Okafor is too good to pass up here. Okafor has nice size and plays good against the run and has some nice pass rush moves.
53
  Bengals
Kenjon BarnerRB Oregon
The Bengals need a change of pace back to round out their backfield. Kenjon Barner is an excellent open field runner and a threat to take it the distance any time he touches the ball.
54
  Dolphins   F/IND
Johnthan BanksDC Mississippi State
The Dolphins cornerback situation is completely lacking in numbers and talent. Banks is lean and muscular with long arms who uses proper technique, and plays the game with some feistiness. Banks did an excellent job at Mississippi State shutting down opposing teams wide receivers going against the best the SEC had to offer.
55
  Packers
Brian SchwenkeOC California
Jeff Saturday is gone and wasn't very good either. Brian Schwenke really proved himself this year and should start right away. Schwenke can anchor against powerful defensive tackles, is quick enough to pull and get to the second level.
56
  Seahawks
Barrett JonesOC Alabama
The Seahawks would like to get a right tackle at this spot but the best available offensive lineman is Barrett Jones. Jones has experience at every offensive line spot except left tackle.
57
  Texans
Johnathan JenkinsDT Georgia
The Texans would jump at the chance to select a true nose tackle such as John Jenkins. Jenkins is a behemoth who not only can clog up the middle but is athletic enough to provide some interior pass rush.
58
  Broncos
Kevin MinterIB LSU
The Broncos signed Stewart Bradley to play inside linebacker but he has an injury history and is only signed to a one year deal. Kevin Minter is projected by some to be selected in the first round. Minter has excellent instincts, football IQ and tackling ability.
59
  Patriots
Quinton PattonWR Louisiana Tech
Quinton Patton is an excellent route runner with very good hands and plays faster than his timed speed.
60
  Falcons
Manti Te'oIB Notre Dame
The Falcons are thin at middle linebacker and if Manti Teo drops this far they could certainly give him strong consideration here. Teo is more of a thumper middle linebacker who plays with good instincts and tackling ability.
61
  49ers
Blidi Wreh-WilsonDC Connecticut
The 49ers need cornerback depth. Blidi Wreh-Wilson has good size, long arms and decent speed and athleticism.
62
  Ravens
Justin PughOT Syracuse
The Ravens lost Matt Birk to retirement and lost Ben grubbs to free agency last year and right now Bryant McKinnie their starting left tackle is a free agent. Justin Pugh has decent size and very good athleticism. Pugh has short arms and it is debatable if he can play tackle in the NFL and in the case he can't he could be moved inside to guard.
