Round 1
1
  Chiefs
Geno SmithQB West Virginia
The Chiefs could go for Luke Joeckel here to lock up the best player in this year's draft as a franchise left tackle. However, this franchise is going absolutely nowhere until they nab a QB. With such a weak class anyway, waiting until the second round will not do them any good. A tackle is useless until there is a QB to protect. Best to take the best quarterback out of a weak group to begin the movement forward.
2
  Jaguars
Bjoern WernerDE Florida State
Jacksonville has no pass rush, and no quarterback. They need a QB more in my opinion, but other than Geno Smith (if even) there is no quarterback worth taking in the first round anymore. The Jaguars can at least address a big defensive need and groom this year's best defensive end for a couple seasons while they try to figure something out on offense.
3
  Raiders
Damontre MooreDE Texas A&M
Oakland needs a pass rusher as well, and with Werner off the board, there are lots of other great options. I like Moore here because he is a tremendous pass rusher and has the speed to play OLB if asked also.
4
  Eagles
Luke JoeckelOT Texas A&M
The Eagles have needs at offensive line and Quarterback. In between Micheal Vick and trading for Alex Smith, I think they will figure out what they need at signal collar. The next biggest need is at left tackle, and lucky for them, the best lineman falls right into this lap.
5
  Lions
Dee MillinerDC Alabama
Detroit needs a pass rusher as well., but may be able to work something out with Cliff Avril. They have one of the worst secondaries and a cornerback is a huge need. With Aaron Berry getting into trouble, the best route is to take a top cornerback. Milliner won't change the game immediately, but he is a building block and if Detroit can give him some more talent to play alongside in the coming couple years, Milliner could become a very valuable pick.
6
  Browns
Sam MontgomeryDE LSU
Lots of pass rushing options for Cleveland here. The best could be Jarvis Jones, however his spinal stenosis will make teams back away. Sam Montgomery is fast and disruptive and will become the leader of a soon-to-be snappy defense.
7
  Cardinals
Matt BarkleyQB Southern Cal
Arizona needs offensive tackle and quarterback. Their QB situation is so bad that they will not mind reaching for a third round quality QB in the top ten when their is no other one available. The Cards need QB help soon and they only way they will get it is draft or trading for Smith from San Fran. I think Philly wins that race though, as Alex Smith will most likely take the Eagles' talented roster over Arizona's. Zona is left with no other choice and has to make a reach.
8
  Bills
Ryan NassibQB Syracuse
Same case for Buffalo as Arizona. At least in their case, they are getting someone familiar. The one advantage they have here, despite getting a lesser talent, is that there should be a smoother NFL transition since Nassib will just be traveling with his old coach.
9
  Jets
Jarvis JonesOB Georgia
Jones is really falling down now, and even though his condition warrants it, his talent is screaming at someone to take him. The Jets need pass rush and a story other than locker room struggles. Jones improves the defense and gives them a good story to follow, as he deals against his spinal stenosis in his quest for stardom.
