Round 1
1
  Jaguars
Trevor LawrenceQB Clemson
This pick has been decided since about Week 15 of last year when the Jets beat the Rams and gifted this pick to the Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence will be the pick here and deservedly so - he's the most impressive QB prospect since Andrew Luck. With a coaching staff in place already designed around maximizing his talent, Lawrence will have every opportunity to succeed in Jacksonville. It will be up to him to continue living up to the hype.
2
  Jets
Zach WilsonQB BYU
The Jets have already traded away Sam Darnold and have just about cemented Zach Wilson into this spot. While the Jets are apparently sold on him, he comes into the NFL with a lot of question marks - namely durability and level of competition. Nonetheless, he will be the unquestioned starter in a new look offense for the Jets.
3
  49ers   f/MIA/HOU
Mac JonesQB Alabama
Even if every other team has Justin Fields ahead of Mac Jones on their draft board, it matters not when the 49ers are the team making the pick. Despite the rest of the league's talent evaluators kicking and screaming about how bad of a job of asset management this is, the 49ers seem very likely to select Mac Jones. If they throw a curveball and opt for Lance or Fields, Jones could have a precipitous slide down the draft board. Mac Jones has the 2nd highest floor in the draft, so for an instant starter he will arguably be in a solid fit in San Francisco.
4
  Falcons
Kyle PittsTE Florida
I believe the Falcons will try hard to move this pick, but considering the 1st 3 picks are just about set in stone at this point, any team desiring to move up should have all the information they need about who will be available. The likely have some trades setup with the contingency that Fields is available, but I could also see the Falcons keeping the pick and drafting the 2nd best player available in the draft. Kyle Pitts is an absolute monster and will be a top 3 NFL TE the minute he's drafted.
5
  Bengals
Ja'Marr ChaseWR LSU
6
  Dolphins   f/PHI
DeVonta SmithWR Alabama
7
  Lions
Jaylen WaddleWR Alabama
8
  Panthers
Rashawn SlaterOT Northwestern
9
  Broncos
Justin FieldsQB Ohio State
I believe the Broncos are much more likely to move up for a QB than any other team, and I believe they will most likely move up to the 6th pick to do so. Similarly to the Panthers situation, I expect the Broncos to draft Fields despite the presence of Drew Locke on the roster. Fields is the 2nd best QB in the draft to almost every team, so drafting him at #4 or #6 overall is a steal.
