Ourlads' Profile:
Patterson ranks second in the FBS in rushing touchdowns and is one of 11 players to rush for 1,000 yards this season, despite playing only six games. In a two-week stretch against Bowling Green and Kent State, Patterson rushed for a combined 710 yards — topping Ricky Williams’ record for most yards in consecutive games — and 12 touchdowns, including 409 yards (second-most ever) and eight touchdowns (tied for the most) against the Golden Flashes. Patterson was a package deal with his brother, linebacker James — but most schools only wanted James. Buffalo took both, and they pushed the Bulls into the AP Top 25 for the first time.
