Round 1
1
  Chiefs
Luke JoeckelOT Texas A&M
Bringing in Joeckel gives the Chiefs a 10-year starter at left tackle and Branden Albert can then be moved to the Dolphins for a second-round pick. If everything works out, Joeckel, center Rodney Hudson and guards Jeff Allen and Jon Asamaoh and tackle Donald Stephenson give the Chiefs a young offensive line to grow together.
2
  Jaguars
Eric FisherOT Central Michigan
The Jaguars lack even an NFL-caliber backup tackle to compliment left tackle Eugene Monroe. Fisher and Monroe should give whichever quarterback falls to the top of the second round time to throw.
3
  Raiders
Sharrif FloydDT Florida
The Raiders have holes everywhere, but boost the middle of the defensive line. With only oft-injured Pat Sims and career-backup Vance Walker inside, Floyd starts immediately. The question is how high is his ceiling?
4
  Eagles
Lane JohnsonOT Oklahoma
With Demterius Bell and Todd Herremans both coming off injuries, Johnson has every chance to be an immediate starter. Herremans could then be moved back inside to guard. Tackle-needy teams frown with three tackles taken in the first four picks.
5
  Lions
Dion JordanDE Oregon
With the top tackles gone, the Lions go defensive end over a top guard. Jordan should line up opposite a Jason Jones/Willie Young combo as a rookie at right end.
6
  Browns
Dee MillinerDC Alabama
The Browns fill a large hole in their lineup. Milliner address an obvious need for the Browns and forms a formidable tandem with fellow former No. 1 pick Joe Haden.
7
  Cardinals
Star LotuleleiDT Utah
With the top three tackles off the board, the Cards take their fall-back choice. Lotulelei will be used all over the line in the Cards' 3-4/4-3 multiple front scheme.
8
  Bills
Ryan NassibQB Syracuse
The Bills grab Nassib, the closest thing to a franchise-type quarterback in the draft. He rejoins former Syracuse coach Doug Marrone in Buffalo and sits until Kevin Kolb flames early.
9
  Jets
Barkevious MingoOB LSU
The Jets need a pass-rusher for the 3-4 scheme. With only reserve-types Garrett McIntyre and Antwan Barnes and aging Calvin Pace outside, Mingo gets every chance for an immediate impact. Rex Ryan likes Mingo and he surprises by taking the LSU product over Dion Jordan.
10
  Titans
DJ FlukerOT Alabama
The Titans' Bruce Matthews like Fluker at guard as a rookie. He will eventually move out to right tackle as David Stewart ages.
11
  Chargers
Chance WarmackOG Alabama
Warmack fills an immediate need for the Chargers, who have journeymen Chad Rinehart and Rich Ohrnberger at guard. Johnnie Troutman, injured as a rookie, may wind up opposite Warmack.
12
  Dolphins
DJ HaydenDC Houston
With corners Richard Marshall and Brent Grimes both coming off injuries, the Fins need young legs at corner. Hayden is a late riser to be the second corner chosen.
13
  Jets   F/TB
Tavon AustinWR West Virginia
The Jets have big needs at wideout, tight end and offensive line, but elect to address a weak wide receiver core that will be without Santonio Holmes in 2014.
14
  Panthers
Kenny VaccaroFS Texas
The Panthers safety play has been awful the past two seasons. Vaccaro starts Day 1 at free safety. Carolina hopes to nab a defensive tackle in Round 2.
15
  Saints
Ezekiel AnsahDE BYU
Ansah falls to the Saints. He starts opposite Cameron Jordan as building blocks for Rex Ryan's 3-4 defense.
16
  Rams
DeAndre HopkinsWR Clemson
The Rams intend to supply Sam Bradford weapons early in the draft. Hopkins is the first. He will start immediately for the Rams young, thin wideout group.
17
  Steelers
Jarvis JonesOB Georgia
Jones need only be out underwhelming Jason Worilds to replace departed James Harrison at outside linebacker. Jones fills a need and starts opposite LaVar Woodley.
18
  Cowboys
Sheldon RichardsonDT Missouri
Instead of going offensive line, Richardson is chosen. He is a natural fit for under tackle position made famous by Warren Sapp in Monte Kiffin's scheme. The Cowboys hope to sign Eric Winston after the draft to address the offensive line. Winston starts at right tackle and Doug Free moves inside to guard.
19
  Giants
Alec OgletreeIB Georgia
Ogletree gives the Giants a sideline-to-sideline middle linebacker they've lacked since Antonio Pierce retired. With only Dan Conner in the middle, the Giants need to address the position. He could also wind up on the strongside, where he would be an upgrade over Keith Rivers or Mark Herzlich.
20
  Bears
Jonathan CooperOG North Carolina
The Bears take Cooper and immediately throw him in as a starter. Both guard spots are weak for the Bears and need to be addressed.
21
  Bengals
Eric ReidFS LSU
Reid moves to strong safety to fill a hole in the Bengals' secondary. He may also move later in his career to free safety, replacing Reggie Nelson. The Bengals continue to add pieces to their defense.
22
  Rams   F/WAS
Johnathan FranklinRB UCLA
With Austin, Vaccaro and Cooper off the board, the Rams reach a bit for Franklin. He takes over as primary ball carrier for Steven Jackson. The Rams continue to add weapons around Sam Bradford.
23
  Vikings
Cordarrelle PattersonWR Tennessee
Patterson's deep speed takes pressure off of Greg Jennings Kyle Rudolph and opens up defenses for Adrian Peterson. He gets every chance for an immediate impact.
24
  Colts
Bjoern WernerDE Florida State
Werner replaces Dwight Freeney opposite Robert Mathis. Werner can play in pass-rushing situations behind Eric Walden as he learns the 3-4.
25
  Vikings   F/SEA
Xavier RhodesDC Florida State
The falling Rhodes is chose before Washington's Trufant, but after D.J. Hayden. He fills a major need for the Vikes defense without Antoine Winfield.
26
  Packers
Menelik WatsonOT Florida State
Watson will push left tackle Marshall Newhouse, or stay on the right side if the Packers move Bryan Bulaga. The Pack intend to address the lines in the draft in an effort to get more physical.
27
  Texans
Justin HunterWR Tennessee
The Texans wideout core in thin and unproven minus Andre Johnson. Hunter gets every chance to replace Kevin Walter in the lineup. He's the best left with Hopkins, Austin and Patterson off the board.
28
  Broncos
Datone JonesDE UCLA
The Elvis Dumerveil disaster behind them, the Broncos look for a new pass-rush compliment to Von Miller and Derek Wolfe. Jones starts at right end as a rookie.
29
  Patriots
Sylvester WilliamsDT North Carolina
With Vince Wilfork and Tommy Kelly aging and host of fringe starters at the tackle position, the Pats take an interior prospect who will have vets from which to learn.
30
  Falcons
Desmond TrufantDC Washington
With Sheldon Richardson gon, the Falcons are delighted to see Trufant still on the board. With Dunta Robinson, Christopher Owens and Brent Grimes elsewhere in 2013, Trufant gets every opportunity to start opposite Asante Samuel.
31
  49ers
Cornellius CarradineDE Florida State
The 49ers take Justin Smith's heir apparent at defensive end. In the meantime, Carradine gets a look at outside linebacker and pushes Ray McDonald in pass-rush groupings.
32
  Ravens
Arthur BrownOB Kansas State
The fast-rising Brown is an ideal fit as Ray Lewis' replacement at inside linebacker for the Ravens. With Dannell Ellerbe and Brandon Ayanbadejo also gone, the Ravens need to reload inside.
Round 2
33
  Jaguars
Geno SmithQB West Virginia
The Jags are elated to see Smith fall to Round 2. He sits until Blane Gabbert flames out in camp and Chad Henne can't get the Jaguars inept roster more than a few wins.
34
  49ers   F/KC
Keenan AllenWR California
The 49ers have two wideouts coming off of knee surgery and four who are free agents after the 2013 season. Plus, last year's top pick, A.J. Jenkins, couldn't get on the field. Allen makes a lot of sense here. He learns behind Anquin Boldin for a season as the club's no. 3 wideout as a rookie.
35
  Eagles
Johnathan HankinsDT Ohio State
Hankins starts opposite former No. 1 pick Fletcher Cox in a revamped Eagles 3-4 front line. The end position has a large vacancy at the moment. The Eagles succeed in beefing up both lines.
36
  Lions
Kyle LongOT Oregon
The Lions take a long look at Long at left tackle. But he winds up starting at either right or left tackle as a rookie. The Lions like 2012 top pick Riley Reiff at right guard and want him there in 2013.
37
  Bengals   F/OAK
Eddie LacyRB Alabama
Lacy has an immediate role in the backfield for the Bengals competing with Benjarvus Green-Ellis for carries. It is likely Lacy pushes Green-Ellis from the primary role and makes him more of a short-yardage and goal-line back.
38
  Cardinals
EJ ManuelQB Florida State
The Cards continue their remake of the quarterback position. Manuel's big arm is a fit for Bruce Arian's offense. He learns in 2013 behind Carson Palmer and Drew Stanton.
39
  Jets
Tyler EifertTE Notre Dame
The Jets roster has only prodding blocking tight ends on the roster. The falling Eifert is too good to pass up and starts as a rookie. Quarterback hopes fall to a later round.
40
  Titans
Johnthan BanksDC Mississippi State
The Titans never replaced Courtland Finnegan at cornerback. Banks gets every chance to at least be the Titans' nickel back as a rookie.
41
  Bills
Zach ErtzTE Stanford
With Scott Chandler limited athletically and reserves scarce, Ertz starts immediately for Buffalo.
42
  Dolphins
Matt BarkleyQB Southern Cal
The Chiefs get this pick in the Brandon Albert trade. Despite needs elsewhere, Barkley is too good to pass up. The remake of the Chiefs quarterback position is complete as Barkley watches behind Alex Smith and Chase Daniel as a rookie.
43
  Buccaneers
Johnathan JenkinsDT Georgia
With the secondary fixed with Darrell Revis and Dashon Goldson, the Bucs find a nose guard. Josh Freeman and Gerald McCoy are both happy.
44
  Panthers
Jesse WilliamsDT Alabama
Williams gets every chance to start opposite veteran Dwan Edwards as a rookie. He should tighten up the Panthers run defense for years to come.
45
  Chargers
Manti Te'oIB Notre Dame
Te'o falls and the Chargers are happy to grab him. Teamed with Donald Butler, the Chargers should have an athletic inside pair of linebackers for years.
46
  Rams
Matt ElamSS Florida
The athletic Elam is exactly what the Rams need at safety. They decide on Elam over similar needs at linebacker that will be addressed later in the draft.
47
  Cowboys
John CyprienSS Florida International
The Cowboys add the athletic Cyprien to their pedestrian safety core. Kiffin now has his under tackle and strong safety needed for the Tampa-2 defense to run.
48
  Steelers
Montee BallRB Wisconsin
The cupboard is a bit more bare the normal at running back for Pittsburgh, and the bruising Ball is too tough to pass up. The Steelers spend the rest of the draft looking for defense.
49
  Giants
Kawaan ShortDT Purdue
The Giants revolving door at tackle takes a pause with Short. He gives the Giants steady tackle play they've been lacking inside JPP, Justin Tuck and Mathias Kwanuka
50
  Bears
Kevin MinterIB LSU
The Bears desperately need young bodies at linebacker. Minter can compete with D.J. Williams inside and James Anderson on the strongside.
51
  Commanders
David AmersonDC North Carolina State
The Skins tab Amerson with the idea of him playing free safety. His usefulness in nickel packages and against tight ends helps immediately.
52
  Vikings
Kiko AlonsoIB Oregon
Alonso gets every chance to be the Vikes middle linebacker after the club chased away Jasper Brinkley. The Vikes address another need on defense.
53
  Bengals
Margus HuntDE SMU
WIth Andre Smith likely back, the Bengals can concentrate on an end position that could look very different in 2014 due to free agency.
54
  Dolphins   F/IND
Damontre MooreDE Texas A&M
The Dolphins take Moore to compete with second-year end Oliver Vernon with the idea of Jared Odrick spending more time inside in the future.
55
  Packers
Travis FrederickOC Wisconsin
Frederick immediately competes for a starting job at center for the Pack. He can also provide depth at guard.
56
  Seahawks
Sio MooreOB Connecticut
Until Chris Clemons come back from knee surgery and Seattle shuffles one of its ends to linebacker, Moore will get a long look at weakside/strongside linebacker.
57
  Texans
Khaseem GreenOB Rutgers
Houston needs someone to pair with returning Brian Cushing at inside linebacker. Green will get on-the-job training inside in Houston.
58
  Broncos
Jamar TaylorDC Boise State
Taylor starts off as the Broncos' nickel back, but may move up if Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie's 2012 film doesn't lie.
59
  Patriots
Robert WoodsWR Southern Cal
The Pats are happy to see Woods available. With Danny Amendola leading a shaky wideout core, Woods can contribute right away.
60
  Falcons
Terron ArmsteadOT Arkansas-Pine Bluff
The Falcons have a hole at right tackle after releasing Tyson Clabo, so Armstead will get a look right away. He can also provide depth behind Sam Baker on the left side.
61
  49ers
Vance McDonaldTE Rice
The 49ers need a replacement for departed Delanie Walker in the oft-used two-tight end sets. The late-rising McDonald fills the bill.
62
  Ravens
Justin PughOT Syracuse
The versatile Pugh will get looks at multiple positions as the Ravens figure out their best offensive line combination. He will get long looks at both tackle spots.
